Conditions

• You are following an MBO/SBO at level 3 or 4, an HBO (Higher Professional Education) or WO (University Education) programme at an educational institution within the Kingdom.
• The educational institution you attend is listed on the web page educational institutions.
• You follow a full-time programme.
• The period of the internship or study exchange is a minimum of two and a maximum of six months.
• The study exchange is a compulsory or extra-curricular part of the programme you are following. The internship is a compulsory part of the programme you are following.
• You have the Dutch nationality or are eligible for a student grant on the basis of your residence permit. The following applies to residence permits:

• You reside in the European Netherlands andhave a residence status equivalent to Dutch nationality based on a treaty or decree.
• You live in the European Netherlands and, according to the Order in Council, you belong to a designated group of persons who have the same status as someone with Dutch nationality in terms of study grants.
• You completed all courses in the first year of study befre submitting your application. This requirement does not apply to students pursuing a master's degree.
• You have not simultaneously submitted an application for the NL Scholarship of KoninkrijksBPV with your application for the Kingdom Scholarship.
• You have not previously received the Kingdom Scholarship.
• Submit a complete application with supporting documents.

  • Completed and signed application form
  • Copy of proof of registration for the current academic year
  • Completed and signed Declaration Educational Institutes, filled in by the educational institute.
• The application for the Kingdom Scholarship is received within the stipulated period for your internship or study exchange via koninkrijksbeurs@rijksdienstcn.com.
