Extra AOV
Since January 1st, 2020 there is a supplement to the old age pension (Algemene Ouderdomsverzekering, AOV). If you qualify for this supplement, the AOV amount that you receive will be increased to the Legal Minimum Wage. This is one of the measures implemented, to increase incomes and benefits in the Caribbean Netherlands.

How do I submit a request?
You can submit your application for Extra AOV at the SZW unit of RCN. You are welcome to do so during the consultation hours of the department of social relief (‘onderstand’), but you can also make an appointment

What do I have to bring along?
Bring the following documents with you to submit your application:
- ID-card
- passport
- bank statements from the past two months
- if applicable: residence permit
- if applicable: pension specification (s)
- if you submit an application together with your partner, you must both take your documents with you.
