Reporting changes in your personal situation

It is important that you inform us of any changes to your personal circumstances as soon as possible. This helps us contact you easily and ensures your child benefit is paid on time. You must report the following changes:

Moving to a new address

Report your new address to us within 14 days. Complete the change of personal situation child benefit form and send it, along with a scan of your proof of address, to kinderbijslag@rijksdienstcn.com. You may also hand in the form in person at the SZW office. Only the person who applied for child benefit may report the change of address.

Important: Are you moving to the European Netherlands? Contact SZW before your departure to request a termination letter. You need this to apply for child benefit again in the European Netherlands.

New bank account number

Do you have a new bank account number? Please notify us as soon as possible. Complete the change of personal situation child benefit form and send it with a scan of your new bank details to kinderbijslag@rijksdienstcn.com, or visit the SZW office. Only the person who applied for child benefit may report the change.

Change of phone number or email address

Please also inform us of any changes to your phone number or email address so that we can reach you easily. Send this change via the change of personal situation child benefit form to kinderbijslag@rijksdienstcn.com, or visit the SZW office.
