Authority for Consumers & Markets (ACM)
The Authority for Consumers & Markets (ACM) is part of the Dutch government. As an independent supervisory authority, we make sure that companies in the Netherlands compete fairly with each other and we protect consumer interests.
On Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba, different laws than those in European Netherlands usually apply. For the work of the ACM, special laws apply in Caribbean Netherlands for supervision of the following sectors:
- Electricity and drinking water supply
- Postal sector
- Telecom sector
