Which information is needed when submitting an application?
A calculation requires the financial information of both parents. You can ask your (former) partner to cooperate with this.
There are two options:
- One of the parents submits all information and documents on behalf of both parents;
- The application is submitted by one parent and both parents submit the information and documents individually.
If one of both parents wants to submit the application without the cooperation of the other parent, at least the correct contact details of the other parents are required: full name, date of birth, telephone number, and potentially an email address and residential address. If you do not have these details, the Guardianship Council cannot help you.
If the details of both parents are submitted separately, both parents will receive the complete calculation from the Guardianship Council. This calculation will include an overview of the financial details and expenses of both parents.
