Exchange rate differences
Students eligible for a Kingdom Scholarship may receive a different amount due to exchange rate differences. Depending on the type of bank account on which the scholarship is paid, there are different banking and transaction fees that may be charged.
The grant amounts for the Kingdom Scholarship are fixed in euros, hence the exchange rate on the day of payment is decisive in case of payments to bank accounts in other currencies. From OCW-Caribbean Netherlands, every effort is made to ensure that all students are paid the allocated grant amount. However, there may be additional costs for receiving payments in a foreign currency, which are at the expense of the student.
