How can I have access to my child?

When parents split up, both parents retain the right to have access to their children. Parents who separate are required to make arrangements about their children, for example about access and the children’s place of residence. If the parents themselves are unable to make clear arrangements, then they can turn to the Youth Care CN for voluntary mediation. If the voluntary mediation from Youth Care CN does not provide a solution, then parents are referred to a lawyer and the court has to decide. The court can ask the Youth Carwe CN to examine the situation and advise it as to what is best for the children. If there are considerable concerns about a child, the Youth Care CN can decide to start a child protection investigation as well.
