Obstetric care
Obstetric care consists of accompaniment during the birth and prenatal and postnatal care by an obstetrician, general practitioner or medical specialist.
Obstetric care and birth care in hospital are fully reimbursed. The reimbursement of hospital admittance has a maximum of 3 days unless a longer period is medically necessary. Gynecological care is reimbursed upon medical indication.
The reimbursement of obstetric care includes the use of the delivery room, medical and nursing items and laboratory expenses.
