Plenchi di Trabou is organising a job fair (Feria di Karera) for jobseekers, young professionals, people looking for their first job and employees who are looking for a new challenge. The job fair is to be held at the ‘Jong Bonaire’ youth centre on 3 October 2025.
The event will showcase opportunities for anyone aged 18 and over – from short introductions to potential employers to new insights for professional development and inspiration. Plenchi di Trabou is committed to making the job market more accessible to all those who want to work.
Meet employers
Would you like to know what it is like to work for the government, or is your ambition in fact to find work in a different sector? During the job fair you will get the chance to talk to employers from all kinds of different sectors, ask questions, tell them what you have to offer and jointly explore the possibilities. If there is a click, a follow-up appointment can be scheduled immediately. This is a low-threshold opportunity to present yourself to companies that are actively looking for new talent.
Workshops and inspiration
Besides meeting potential employers you will also be able to take part in one of the free interactive workshops. These will focus on themes such as personal development, job training and career choices. Inspiring presentations will also be given on current topics which are relevant to working and professional development on Bonaire. Visitors will have the opportunity to ask questions and talk to professionals from various different sectors.

At the end of the day there will be music, something to drink and time to chat with others.
