Multidisciplinary action on construction site
On Wednesday October 22th, KPCN, KMar, the Belastingdienst CN and the Labor Inspectorate carried out an action on a construction site in Kralendijk. The action’s primary focus was on checking whether there was illegal labour.
In addition, the action focused on occupational safety at the construction site and on the payment of taxes. A total of 55 people were checked.
Three persons tried to escape the control by running away. The police officers could find two of these three men. These two persons could not show the correct permits and were transferred to the police station for questioning. The third person could not be traced.
The Labor Inspectorate and the Belastingdienst will investigate the details in the coming weeks. No irregularities were found regarding safety at work.
