What requirements does a report have to meet?
Conditions for Guardianship Council CN reports:
- Fact and opinion must be recorded separately;
- The principle of hearing of both sides must be applied and interviews are routinely recorded in reports;
- Statements must be recorded as concretely as possible, without speculative wording;
- Approval of information accuracy must be made explicit in reporting;
- The weighting of hindering and protective factors regarding the child's situation and the conclusion about them must be clearly traceable and understandable;
- Reports by external experts must be attached to council reports in their entirety.
These conditions form the basis for controlling the quality of reports.
