What requirements does a report have to meet?

Conditions for Guardianship Council CN reports:

  • Fact and opinion must be recorded separately;
  • The principle of hearing of both sides must be applied and interviews are routinely recorded in reports;
  • Statements must be recorded as concretely as possible, without speculative wording;
  • Approval of information accuracy must be made explicit in reporting;
  • The weighting of hindering and protective factors regarding the child's situation and the conclusion about them must be clearly traceable and understandable;
  • Reports by external experts must be attached to council reports in their entirety.

These conditions form the basis for controlling the quality of reports.
