General practitioner services
The general practitioner is usually your first contact for health problems.
He or she monitors the overview of your general health and, if necessary, refers you. All insured persons have a right to medicinal and surgical care by a general practitioner. Upon referral by the general practitioner, laboratory, radiological, functional and pathological-anatomical analyses are also reimbursed. Alternative medicines and medical examinations are not included in the general practitioner's care and are not reimbursed.
