Job description
Our Contact Center provides assistance to 155,000 of our colleagues who have HR-related questions. As a Contact Center employee you will answer questions from colleagues, our clients, via phone, email and chat. If you enjoy helping clients over the phone, this could turn out to be a good move because we receive the majority of questions via the telephone. It is important that you can get on well with all kinds of clients so that you can provide proper assistance to even the most reluctant of them.
You will also process mutations in a variety of systems as a result of the requests submitted. You will keep to agreements, assess the quality of your own work, appreciate feedback and be willing to challenge others constructively in order to make improvements. You will actively build your career and develope all the time. You want to achieve results, for yourself, but primarily for the client.
The organisation
P-Direkt is the HR service provider for the Dutch central government.. We offer a wide range of services at the intersection of HR and ICT to nearly 155,000 employees and managers at the ministries and other government organisations. Our best-known end products are salary payments (‘the right salary for everyone on time') and the information provision. With our innovative technology, central government employees and managers can easily manage their HR affairs through the self-service portal. Annually, we process over €9.7 billion in personnel and salary costs.
P-Direkt is a shared service organisation and part of the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. It employs more than 800 staff who are spread across three locations: The Hague, Zwolle and on Bonaire.
Our location on Bonaire has been in operation since 2015. From Bonaire, we ensure that our services continue to run until 10:00 PM in the Netherlands, by efficiently utilizing the time difference between Bonaire and the Netherlands. The objective of the Contact Center is to support civil servants by phone, email or chat and make it easy for them to arrange their HR and payroll affairs. Contact Center staff can also process orders submitted in the P-Direkt portal.

Job requirements
As an employee within our Contact Center you will be able to separate primary and secondary issues and structure large quantities of information. You are also used to working with others. You always keep the goal in mind but adapt when circumstances require. You continuously identify opportunities to serve customers even better. You discuss these with colleagues so you can put those ideas into practice.
You will also have the following:
- A diploma at senior secondary vocational education (MBO) level 4.
- Experience with the administrative processing of data in a system.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft package: Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Communication skills in the Dutch language, both oral and written.
- A good verbal command of Papiamento.
- Flexibility in changes to your work. Depending on the work on offer, your work may vary.
- A willingness to develop and attend education/training courses.
