CN-Express is experiencing delays
The CN Express, the direct flight between Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba, is experiencing delays. This connection between the three islands of the Caribbean Netherlands would originally be operational early January.
The Ministries of the Interior and Kingdom Relations (BZK) and Infrastructure and Water Management (IenW) jointly with RCN wanted to establish a direct connection between Bonaire and St. Eustatius, and from St. Eustatius to Saba. The flights would be operated by Winair. Although there was initially a principle agreement between the parties, Winair eventually backed out of the agreement, which made it impossible to realize the air connection. The ministries are now looking at possible other solutions.
