Second Chamber Election Wednesday, October 29, 2025
The Second Chamber Election will take place on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. Residents of the Caribbean Netherlands who are 18 years or older and have the Dutch nationality are eligible to vote. By voting, they can determine who will represent them in the Second Chamber.
The Second Chamber (Tweede Kamer) controls the government and makes new legislation, which is also of significance to the residents of the Caribbean Netherlands. This concerns subjects such as healthcare, security, and social affairs.
Public Information campaign
Commissioned by the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, the Rijksdienst Caribisch Nederland is conducting an information campaign. The campaign's slogan is: "I’m on. I'm voting."
This campaign informs residents of Bonaire, St. Eustatius, and Saba about the election and the voting process, and encourages them to vote.
The Public Entities are responsible for the organization of the election.
