New Chef Training Program Started at JICN
JICN, SGB, and Fundashon Forma are jointly offering a new MBO 2 chef training program. Four motivated detainees, who previously obtained their MBO 1 diploma in Hospitality, Food, and Food Industry at JICN, have started this two-year follow-up course. The official launch took place on Thursday, the 30th of January.

The lessons are provided by teachers from Fundashon Forma and fall under SGB. The detainees had been looking forward to this opportunity for a long time and are happy that the training began in 2025. They attend theoretical classes for one and a half days per week and gain practical experience in the JICN kitchen.
Upon completion, participants will receive an MBO 2 diploma, increasing their chances of finding a job after their detention. This program marks a new step in the collaboration between JICN, SGB, and Fundashon Forma to provide more educational opportunities for detainees.
