Stronger Together: Crisis Management and Communication Week Curaçao 2025
Last week, crisis management and crisis communication were the main focus during an intensive program on Curaçao. More than one hundred crisis managers and crisis communication specialists from across the Kingdom took part in the sixth Crisis Management Week and the second Crisis Communication Week.
Besides the participants from the European Netherlands, Curaçao, Aruba and St. Maarten, the Caribbean Netherlands was also well represented. Crisis coordinators and communication specialists from the public entities of Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba joined, together with communication staff from the Communication Department of the Rijksdienst Caribisch Nederland.
The conference provided an important platform to strengthen cooperation, share knowledge and experiences, and learn from each other’s way of working. Participants also expressed their wish to work even more closely together in the future, so they can respond even better during incidents, disasters and crises.
