National Coordinator against Discrimination and Racism: Invitation to Ban Topa on 10 April – “Stop poverty on Bonaire!”
On Thursday 10 April, the National Coordinator against Discrimination and Racism (NCDR), in collaboration with the consumer association UNKOBON, is organising a Ban Topa (town hall meeting) for the residents of Bonaire. The theme is “Stop poverty on Bonaire!”
The Ban Topa aims to give Bonairians a platform to share their voices on social security, poverty, and the inequality between the Caribbean Netherlands and the European Netherlands.
During the session, the NCDR will engage with citizens on the following topics:
- Personal experiences with social security, poverty, and inequality between the Caribbean Netherlands and the European Netherlands;
- Bringing the interests of Bonairians to the agenda;
- Solutions for a fair and equal Netherlands.
