IND office on Bonaire moves
The Immigration and Naturalization Service (Immigratie en Naturalisatiedienst, IND) unit CN on Bonaire will be moving on Friday the 6th of May, 2022, to Kaya Gresia 11, opposite the SSO building of the Rijksdienst Caribisch Nederland (RCN). The new building will provide space for, among other things, an additional service counter.
With the move, the service will become more accessible and will also be expanded. For example, an extra counter will be set up near the entrance where customers can go with simple questions, such as, the status of a submitted application or a form to be filled in. Furthermore, the extending of the opening hours is being worked on.
In designing of the new office, attention has been paid to the privacy of the customers by, among other things, good sound insulation. Moreover, the building offers space for an extra service desk, so that five clients can be assisted simultaneously. The IND expects to be able to assist people faster than in the current building, where there is room for a maximum of four clients at the same time.
The IND unit CN strives to realize the entire relocation during the weekend, so that customers of the service will experience as little inconvenience as possible and will be able to visit the new location unhindered as of Monday the 9th of May.
