Foster Care Day with love and fun
On Sunday December 2nd, Youth and Family (JGCN) together with foster parents celebrated an unforgettable Foster Care Day.
The Foster Care Day was especially meant for foster parents and the grateful work they do. Theme of the special day was 'This is how the old rope ties into the new rope'. The program consisted of family activities, a tasty lunch and fun gifts to put the foster families in the limelight. Because by their special effort and dedication they make a loving difference in the lives of grateful children.
Throughout the year JGCN looks for foster parents to,where necessary, provide children with a second home. Foster parenting is a courageous but tender act and is done from the heart. With a heart for children JGCN therefore showed a grateful gesture and reached out to potential foster parents on this special day.
JGCN looks back on a successful day and thanks the foster families and volunteers for their presence.
