Public Prosecutor’s Office
The Public Prosecutor’s Office is responsible for criminal law enforcement of law and order and other duties laid down by law.
This main task of the Public Prosecutor's Office can be divided into three smaller ones: investigating criminal offences, prosecuting criminal offences and supervising the enforcement of criminal sentences. The Public Prosecutor determines whether and for which offences someone must appear before the criminal court.
