Caribbean Netherlands Fire Department

The Caribbean Netherlands Fire Department (in Dutch: Brandweerkorps Caribisch Nederland, BKCN) is responsible for firefighting services, emergency services and disaster relief in Bonaire, Saba and St. Eustatius. This special Department furthermore contributes to the safety of almost 26,000 inhabitants of the Caribbean Netherlands, among others through prevention education, and by communicating advice on fire safety and performing prevention inspections at building projects.
