What is my role as parent?
As parent or legal representative you play an important role in your child’s Halt route.
You will be present during the intake interview with the Halt mentor and you will support your child in completing their punishment. You will also sign the agreements reached with Halt. You will actively help your child to avoid repetition of offences. This is important for society and for your child’s future. Halt can give you a referral for temporary assistance in your child-rearing duties.
