Postal Service

The Minister of Economic Affairs & Climate Policy is responsible for policy for a good postal service. The regulator Authority for Consumers and Markets ACM supervises compliance with the requirements set for the quality of the postal service in the Caribbean Netherlands. The Postal Service Act BES forms the framework.

With effect from January 1st, 2014, the Minister of Economic Affairs, in accordance with the order of October 17th, 2013, granted the concession for postal services in the Caribbean Netherlands to Flamingo Communications N.V. for a period of 10 years.

N.B. There are no postal codes in the Caribbean Netherlands. You must have a letterbox to receive a letter to be delivered to a home or office address. The letterbox must also comply with the rules.
