No, the Schadefonds does not compensate for all the costs of the damage that you have incurred as a result of the violent crime. It is not a damage compensation. It concerns a one-off compensation payment of a fixed amount, intended to provide financial support.

Surviving relatives can possibly receive an extra compensation for funeral costs and damage as a result of the loss of the income of the deceased. For this purpose, the Schadefonds requires proof, such as invoices, insurance specifications, wage slips or annual statements.
