How long will it take before the Schadefonds pays the compensation payment?

Schadefonds requires a maximum of 26 weeks to deal with your application. If you send all the required information and documents along with your application, there is a greater chance that you will receive a decision more quickly. Dealing with your application could take longer if it is a complicated case, or if you do not send all the supporting documents along with the application.

If the Schadefonds decides that you will receive a one-off compensation payment, you will receive a letter with the decision via The Victims Assistance Office. After this letter has been sent, the sum will be transferred to the account number that you stated within 30 days. If you are under an administrative arrangement, the sum will be transferred to the account number that your administrator states.
