Emergency regulation SZW
The consequences of the coronavirus measures are profound for many companies. To prevent employers from having to dismiss employees, there is a temporary emergency regulation for employers on Bonaire, Saba and St. Eustatius. Employers can receive a contribution towards labor costs. Independent entrepreneurs or people who were employees, but no longer have an employer because of the coronavirus, can also apply for this emergency regulation. The arrangement was initially for a period of three months, until June 12th, 2020. The arrangement will be extended by four months until October 12th, 2020 at the latest.
If you, as an employer, wish to make use of the extension, you must submit a declaration to the RCN unit SZW as soon as possible. If you want to use the extension as an independent entrepreneur or former employee, you do not have to do anything now. You are obligated to report to the RCN-unit SZW if you have income again using the mutation form.
